The technical performance and reliability of our Crystic® products has enabled us to become a recognised supplier of high quality resins and gelcoats to leading manufacturers of windmill blades, generator nacelles, cabins and fairings.
Crystic® gelcoats, proven in marine applications for over 50 years to provide long term weathering performance, are now proving to be equally reliable for windmill applications, both on land and offshore.
Key products for the wind mill blades and housings are:
- High performance polyester gelcoats.
- High performance epoxy bonding gelcoats.
- Crestomer structural adhesive.
- Unsaturated Polyester, Vinyl ester and DCPD blend resins - hand lay up / spray / closed mould grades.

Using feedback from their development engineers and designers, Scott Bader's R & D teams are now working to develop the next generation, higher performance Crystic® products to help solve existing problems and take renewable energy options with composites products forward.
